Un momento natural


En una poza mareal durante la bajamar en la rasa de El Médano (sur de Tenerife): un cangrejo ermitaño (Clibanarius sp.), ocupando la concha de una Littorina striata, cabalga un caracol burbuja (Micromelo undatus). 
La concha del caracol burbuja está tapizada de cianobacterias que son alimento para el cangrejo.

For the last two years I've been living in Tenerife, where I had these great opportunities to observe Macaronesian fauna and flora, but two months ago I moved to the North of Spain (Santander), so the "objects" of my observations will change.
